The whole hilltop family is very friendly. They keep the campground clean and the pool is amazing!! Reba does a fantastic job of keeping the pool sparkling clean. If you're ever in the area stop in and tell them Geronimo sent you 😁

I had just got here and paid for my week. Set up camp. I had 4 kids with me. Around 9ish at night I got a call from my mother that my sister had been in a fatal car accident. Our campsite neighbors herd the commotion and came right over. The wife just wrapped her arms around me and hugged me. I had to just pack in the kids and necessities and drive almost 3 hours in the pouring rain late at night home to be with my family. our other neighbors said they would take care of all our things until we got back. When we came back a day later they had put all my stuff into my tent so it would not get ruined in the rain. They even did my dishes( I was cooking cheeseburgers when I got the call) The owners gave us a 100% refund and gave us a great big hug. Our neighbors all came out while we where packing up and gave us hugs and offered their condolences. They all genuinely cared and made it a little less stressful. I thank them for being so understanding and caring! While we where there the boys went fishing in the pond. And they all enjoyed the pool. We got to choose our site. If you want to camp at a place that treats you like family this is the place!

The best campground stay that we had in all of Maine. A family run campground and they treat you like your their family. The campground accepts Passport America also which was a added bonus. We were only stopping initially for one night and stayed 3 nights instead, we liked their hospitality so much. We will definitely stay again if we travel through again. Thanks Marshal, Donna, Reba and the gang for the good time!
